Luciano Fonzi has spent more than 26 years in Information Technology in different companies covering several roles and responsibilities. For the first twelve years of his career he has worked in the development of Business Applications of Telecom Italia Group, operating in project and service management, starting from coding up to coordinating development and support teams. Thanks to the experience matured with primary technologies in different IT business areas he moved forward to become a Consultant for the assessment and re-engineering of IT environments and processes. In the last twelve years he has mainly worked as a Pre-Sales and Sales Specialist for Project Management, Service Management and Security solutions with multinational companies such as CA Technologies and Microsoft. During this time, he has also spent one year with Eureka Service managing Sales and delivering trainings on Project Management basics at ENI Corporate University. Today, his true passion for team collaboration and work management best practices has driven him to collaborate with Politecnico of Milan to support the analysis about how the adoption of Smart Working is growing in Italy. Recently, he started organizing meetings, workshops, and managing specific groups of interest via Social Networks to spread out his vision about Smart Managers and the primary role that Project Managers may play during the digital transformation of their companies.
